In Timelie, every second that passes by matters as you step into the role of a little girl who can turn back time, peek into the future, and visit any point of her life freely. In this gameplay, you’ll have a cat companion. You can also switch between the little girl and the cat. Players must carefully plan their movements and actions to complement the girl and the cat’s powers.
The player’s objective in this game is to do their best to survive and find the exit door of the abstract world through companionship. Whatever happens, you and your companion cat should stick together. Its gameplay mostly revolves around escaping detections, distracting enemies, and escaping the world where you’re trapped. Your combat here as a player is your ability to manipulate time.
To control time, as this game uses a point-and-click mechanic, all you must do is drag left to turn back time to the past and change your actions, and drag right to visit your future to get the information you need to undo your past mistakes. You can always just fast forward or backward the timeline to successfully survive the game. However, this kind of gameplay can feel repetitive after some time.
